Location & Transport

Horndean sits on the A3, giving excellent road links to Portsmouth (10 miles south) and London (60 miles north). The nearest train stations are Rowlands Castle and Havant, both offering regular services to London Waterloo, Portsmouth, and Brighton. Buses connect Horndean to Waterlooville, Havant, and Portsmouth. For commuters, the A3(M) junction is minutes away. Parking in the village is generally manageable, with free parking at the precinct and recreation grounds.

Schools & Education

Horndean is well-served by schools. Horndean Infant School and Horndean Junior School both have good reputations and are popular with local families. For secondary education, Horndean Technology College is the main option and rated 'Good' by Ofsted. Sixth form students often travel to Havant or Portsmouth.
